The atmosphere was lovely, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well the natural flavor of the carrots was brought out. I ordered the chicken because it had so many good reviews, but unfortunately, it was so salty that I couldn’t finish it. Other than that, I was very satisfied with all the other dishes.

We had a superb dining experience at Jun. Everything was good but the standout dishes were the green curry (surprise!) and the fried chicken with hot honey (not a surprise). Service was top notch and professional. Tables felt a bit squished together and ambience was dimmer than I would’ve liked. Great evening out!

Amazing experience and service. I highly recommend trying the rice cakes and carrots. I recommend skipping the tasting and just ordering à la carte. Seems like you get better value(more economical with larger portions). How do I know this? I was fortunate to sit next to another person who ordered the tasting and was given the impression much was left to be desired.

Outstanding service, atmosphere, and fresh flavorful food. The menu has no misses and is an eclectic mix of cultural dishes inspired by the chefs from El Salvador and Chinese-American backgrounds, as well as their travels to Thailand and elsewhere. Went for our anniversary and we were treated to a special card, welcome drinks and a dessert on the house! The creamy rice cakes in particular were one of the best bites in the city. Could not be more thankful we decided to come here. The price point was incredible value for the quality and this place should be considered a Houston staple restaurant.

Wow…what an experience! Jūn was absolutely wonderful in every sense. Cocktails were delicious, our server Adrienne was so sweet and knowledgeable, and that fried chicken is a 10/10, maybe one of the bests I’ve ever had! The true showstopper for me though was the goat cheese cheesecake…I am a goat cheese fanatic and this was just a dream come true for me. It tastes like they mix some cream cheese in to mild out the goat cheese a little bit and make it creamier, total perfection. Ambience was super romantic and intimate, perfect for a date night. Will definitely recommend Jūn to all our Heights friends and more!
